Seed Ecology of Threecorner Milkvetch

Additional Comments:

The initial Agreement amount was not to exceed $346,956. Amendment No. 1 represents a no cost change.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On February 6, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606877-23 for Interlocal Agreement for Seed Ecology of Threecorner Milkvetch to U.S. Geological Survey (LBE) in the amount not to exceed $346,956 for studying the seed ecology of the threecorner milkvetch.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:

                     The term of the Agreement was from date of award through December 31, 2028.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for the addition of language required by U.S. Geological Survey and update the contact information.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications involved.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
