The initial Contract amount was $1,475,000, Amendment No. 1 increased the Contract amount by $225,000, Amendment No. 2 will increase the Contract amount by $575,450, for a new total Contract amount of $2,275,450. |
BACKGROUND:
On May 20, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of RFP No. 605086-18 for Auditing Services to Crowe LLP (LBE) in the amount of $1,475,000 for audit services for Clark County's financial statements.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through December 31, 2021 and included the option to renew for 2, one-year periods and included a 3-month extension.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 revised the extension option from 3 months to 4 months through April 30, 2024 and increased the single audit fees.
Approval of Amendment No. 2 will provide for an extension of the Contract term through April 30, 2025 to allow for a new RFP effort. The attached Amendment No. 2 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Crowe LLP currently holds a Clark County Business License.
