BACKGROUND:

The City of North Las Vegas (CNLV) is requesting use of Clark County's Beltway right-of-way to construct, operate, maintain, repair, reconstruct and/or remove a sewer line by granting a revocable license agreement. The improvements consist of approximately 5,118 linear feet of sewer line between North 5th Street and Losee Road along the Northern Clark County 215 Bruce Woodbury Beltway.

The revocable license agreement subjects CNLV to certain terms and conditions relating to the use of County right-of-way. Clark County may revoke the license with or without cause upon giving one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days written notice to CNLV.

The City of North Las Vegas has approved a prior version of the revocable license agreement, however after CNLV's approval, revisions were necessary. These revisions are expected to be ratified at an upcoming Council meeting.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the agreement as to form.
