The total Contract award is estimated in the amount not to exceed $1,569,135.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On December 18, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the Qualified List pursuant to Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) 604940-18, to be used on a rotating basis, for Professional Services for Real Property Management for various County projects. Hoogland Architecture, LTD. dba Hoogland Architecture (NBE) is the next firm to be selected from the list.

This Contract is to provide architectural services to redesign an existing 35,982 square foot concrete tilt store/warehouse into a new children’s advocacy center. Spaces will include offices, meeting rooms, examination rooms, family advocate interview rooms, training rooms, therapy rooms and more. Users include the public, medical and mental health professionals, law enforcement, child advocates and family advocates. Design will include interior and exterior modifications to existing building as well as site and landscape planning to accommodate new use with Hoogland Architecture, LTD. dba Hoogland Architecture (NBE).

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The term of the Contract shall be from date of award through March 27, 2025 and includes a 3-month                      extension. Completion of all services shall be prior to March 27, 2025, unless the extension is utilized or                       such date is amended by Clark County.
                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with                      advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature.

Hoogland Architecture, LTD. dba Hoogland Architecture currently holds a Clark County Business License.
