BACKGROUND: 

The Board of County Commissioners has previously approved and authorized its Chairman to sign agreements with the Clark County Fair Board for provision of the Clark County Fair, held each year in Logandale, Nevada. 
If approved by the Board, this agreement will provide Clark County Fair, Inc. a non-profit organization, the right to use the Clark County Fairgrounds for the specific purpose of producing, conducting and operating the Clark County Fair and Rodeo for each of the next five years beginning in April of 2024.  Clark County Fair, Inc. shall be responsible for all costs, arrangements and equipment related to the production of each Fair, unless expressly assigned to Clark County in this agreement. 

Subject to annual budgetary approval by the Board of County Commissioners, Clark County shall pay Clark County Fair, Inc. the sum of $25,000 year one, and $40,000 years two through five, following the production of the Clark County Fair. 

This agreement has been reviewed, approved as to form and signed by the District Attorney’s Office, and staff recommends approval.
