On August 15, 2023, the Board directed staff to prepare an ordinance to the Clark County Code to provide for the licensing and operations of sidewalk vendors. The proposed ordinance adds definition of terms, establishes findings, applicability, license application requirements, fees, operational requirements, prohibited acts, limitations on hours and locations of operation, penalties, and enforcement.

Staff recommends that the ordinance to amend Title 7 by adding a new Chapter 7.200 and Title 18 by deleting Chapter 18.03 of the County Code be introduced and a public hearing be set for April 16, 2024, at 10 a.m.
