BACKGROUND:
On September 27, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606628-23 for Criminal Case Management System to Karpel Computer Systems Inc. dba Karpel Solutions (LBE) in the amount not to exceed $3,130,725.00 for case management software for civil, criminal, juvenile and child welfare.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through June 30, 2024, and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are 4 renewal options remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will add databases for conversion, Tyler Supervision database and File Server. It will also replace data conversion, Civil with Child Welfare Unity Database. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.
Karpel Solutions currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
