BACKGROUND: 

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for the design and construction of flood control improvements. On February 10, 2011, Clark County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for design, right-of-way, and environmental mitigation for the Fairgrounds Detention Basin and Outfall project (Public Works No. PW.FMOA03A). The Board of County Commissioners approved this interlocal contract on March 1, 2011.

Supplemental No. 8 to the interlocal contract extends the term of the contract to November 30, 2026, unless further time extensions are granted. The current total contract value for the subject project is $1,231,500.

RFCD approved the eighth supplemental contract at its meeting on June 12, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the eighth supplemental contract as to form.
