BACKGROUND:
The State of Nevada has reached a settlement with Defendants, Alvogen, Amneal, Apotex, Hikam, Indivior, Myland, Sun and Zydus (hereinafter "Manufacture Defendants") in Clark County District Court Case, A-19-769755-B to resolve all claims brought against Manufacture Defendants by the State of Nevada and Participating Subdivisions. Under the proposed settlement, the State of Nevada will receive $8,921,593.50, which will be paid over various years pursuant to each settlement agreement. Each of the settlement documents can be found at https://nationalopioidsettlement.com under the additional settlements tab. The settlement proceeds will be distributed to local governments in Nevada in accordance with the One Nevada Agreement previously approved by the Board.
