Description:

County fuel yards and mobile fuel truck support operation cost.

Additional Comments:

Fuel costs will be reimbursed to the County.

 

BACKGROUND: 

In the event of a disruption to the regional fuel supply that significantly limits retail fuel availability within Clark County due to a natural disaster, infrastructure failure, or other verified external event impacting the fuel distribution system, personnel of LVMPD will have access to County (through its Automotive Division) fuel yards and mobile fuel trucks during a fuel supply emergency or declared emergency.  All costs incurred will be invoiced and reimbursed by LVMPD.
