BACKGROUND:
On July 15, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) Approved a Resolution of Intent to Lease Clark County (County) owned real property between the County and Division of Welfare & Supportive Services (DWSS) for ±9,614 SF of reimbursable office space (including ±8,50 sf of usable space) at 1850 & 1900 E Flamingo Rd Las Vegas, NV 89119 (Premises).
The Board is now being asked to approve the Lease Agreement which provides for a retroactive commencement date of July 1, 2023 and expiring on June 30, 2028 with two (2) five (5) year options to renew for the monthly amount of $2,400 paid semi-annually in advance. The Lease Agreement shall be approved substantially as to form.
The County shall provide and pay for all maintenance, utilities, and normal services except for telephone & internet.
Pursuant to NRS 277.050, the Board may lease County-owned real property to another public agency without consideration and without advertising for public bids on such terms as authorized by the Board after holding a public hearing at which objections by the public may be heard.
