BACKGROUND:

Clark County (County) is the owner of Assessor's Parcel Number 070-13-701-017 (County Property) which is known as Overton Park and contains a portion of the undedicated East Virginia Avenue alignment that does not meet Public Works’ right-of-way standards and cannot be dedicated.  America First Credit Union (AFCU) is in the process of developing their adjacent parcels, Assessor's Parcel Numbers 070-13-701-018 and 070-13-701-019.  As part of the development, County Comprehensive Planning is requiring AFCU to acquire an access easement containing ±9,073 SF on the County Property as a condition of development.

This item was presented to the County Long Range Planning Committee on June 25, 2025.
