BACKGROUND:
The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has approved and programmed funds for flood control improvements for the Duck Creek - Larson Detention Basin and Outfall project. The project is defined as DCLA 0001, 0019 and DCLV 0413 on RFCD's Ten-Year Construction Program with pre-design scheduled to begin in fiscal year 2025/2026. The project includes the pre-design of a basin and outfall located on the west side of Interstate 15, approximately one mile north of Sloan Road.The time of performance is effective until December 31, 2028, unless time extensions are granted. RFCD approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on August 14, 2025.The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
