BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved and budgeted funding for the ITS Signal Systems Manager - Integrator project in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing to procure new traffic signal controllers and controller firmware for the more than 1,600 traffic signals within the region.

Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract 3169 will increase funds for owner-controlled allowances to accommodate traffic control needs and incorporate added project innovations that enhance project scope and delivery. The time of performance remains effective until December 31, 2029, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 3169 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on August 14, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
