Licensing and Placement Master Subscription and Services Agreement

Additional Comments:

Amendment No. 1 will decrease the Contract amount by $2,158,197.53, for a new total Contract amount of $2,701,476.55.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On January 2, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606901-23 for Licensing and Placement Master Subscription and Services Agreement to Binti, Inc (LBE) in the amount of $4,759,427.40 for an application that manages foster parents through the process of interviews, background checks and licensing.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

•                     The term of the Contract was from date of award through December 15, 2024 and included the option to                      renew for (4) four, one-year periods. There are 3 renewal options remaining.
•                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause or convenience with 30 day written notice.


Approval of Amendment No. 1 will add a revised Exhibit E that removes the placement/matching module and API implementation from the Contract.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.

This approval will also correct the Contract amount stated in the award. Agenda item No. 17 approved on January 2, 2024 notes the Contract award amount was $4,759,427.40. The correct amount is $4,859,674.08.

The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
