BACKGROUND:
On August 2, 2025, an application was received from Holiday 1 to hold the Halloweentown Pumpkin Patch at 7413 S. Rainbow Blvd and 71 E. Silverado Ranch Blvd from October 3, 2025, to October 31, 2025.
This special event is described on the application as a pumpkin patch with rides and games for families with children under 11 years old.
Under Clark County Code 2.70.050(E), an applicant for a Special Event Preliminary Approval may be required to appear before the Board for a public hearing under certain conditions. A public hearing is required for this application because the event will require significant resources from Clark County, has the potential to cause disorder, disturbances, excessive loitering, nuisances, or other activities which endanger the health or safety of the patrons or disrupt the peace or order of the neighborhood, and the Special Event and/or the Event Organizer has had previous compliance issues associated with events.
Staff recommends that the Board consider whether to approve or deny the application, and if approved, whether any conditions should apply.
