BACKGROUND:

On October 3, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners approved a critical labor shortage (CLS) designation for the FEMA USAR/IMT Assistant position for a two-year period, expiring October 3, 2025.  The Clark County Fire Department now seeks to re-designate and extend this CLS designation, as authorized by NRS 286.523(7), for an additional two-year period from October 3, 2025 through October 3, 2027.
