BACKGROUND:

In January 2024, the Clark County Redevelopment Agency (RDA) completed the purchase of 900 Liberace Ave for $6,500,000.  The property, built in 1975, does not meet Clark County's current building code which has prevented the RDA from leasing space in the building.

During the May 20, 2026, RDA meeting the board received speculative information on the estimated costs for the renovation and demolition of the property.  The board requested a full feasibility study and detailed analysis of the property be completed so that more definitive cost estimates for renovation or demolition could be obtained.
