BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606842-23, for Harmon Avenue - Maryland Parkway to Pecos Road was advertised on November 13, 2023 and opened on December 20, 2023. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is located in Clark County, Nevada, T21S R61E Sec 23 & 24 and T21S R62E Sec 19 on Harmon Avenue from Maryland Parkway to Pecos Road and at the intersection of Rochelle Avenue and Escondido Street. The scope of work includes: reconstruct, rehabilitate, and widen pavement; construct sidewalk, driveways, and sidewalk ramps in pavement widening areas; construct new concrete cross gutters and replace existing concrete cross gutters; replace sidewalk ramps that are not ADA-compliant; replace damaged curb, gutter, and sidewalk; install bicycle lanes and pavement markings; construct storm drain facilities; adjust utilities; upgrade HPS streetlights to LED and install new streetlights and streetlighting conduits, wires, and pull boxes; install ITS conduits, pull boxes, fiber optic cable, and other appurtenances; install loop detectors and traffic signal conduits, cables, and pull boxes; install a school flasher system; and replace existing signs and install new signs .
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 240 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
