The annual Contract award was in the amount of $400,000. To date, the total Contract amount used is $335,649. The additional funding increase of $400,000 annually will bring the total aggregate Contract amount to $4,000,000 should all renewal options be exercised. |
BACKGROUND:
On May 2, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of SOQ No. 606429-22 to Dominion Environmental Consultants NV Inc. (SBE), Nova Geotechnical and Inspection Services, LLC dba Universal Engineering Sciences (NBE), The Converse Professional Group dba Converse Consultants (MBE) and Stearns, Conrad and Schmidt, Consulting Engineers Inc. dba SCS Engineers (NBE) in the amount of $400,000 annually for providing professional services for Consulting Assessment and Abatement Monitoring Services for Asbestos, Mold, Lead Containing/Lead Based Paint and Indoor Air Quality.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract OR approval:
• The term of the Contracts was from date of award through June 30, 2024 and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods and included a 3-month extension. There are 4 renewal options remaining.
• The Contracts included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
This approval will provide for additional consulting services.
All firms on the Qualified List currently hold a Clark County Business License.
