BACKGROUND:
On July 20, 2004, the Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the Fire Chief to accept donations to the department in an amount not to exceed $2,500 in personal property and $1,000 in monetary donations. Individual donations valued at more than $2,500 in personal property or $1,000 in cash will be presented to the Board of County Commissioner for acceptance at a regularly scheduled meeting,
FlyteVu Agency, LLC donated in gently used furniture, which included recliners, sofa, tables, etc. to the department with a fair market value of approximately $20,459.50. These items are specifically designated to leverage product from a local brand activation by donating to a local fire department in need after the event, free of any charge.
