BACKGROUND:
On August 15, 2023, the Board directed staff to prepare an ordinance to the Clark County Code to provide for the licensing and operations of personal delivery devices. The proposed ordinance adds definition of terms, establishes findings, applicability, license application requirements, fees, operational requirements, reporting requirements, and penalties.
Staff recommends that the ordinance to amend Title 7 by adding a new Chapter 7.115 of the County Code be introduced and a public hearing be set for September 3, 2024, at 10 a.m.
