BACKGROUND: 

Nevada Revised Statutes (NRS) allows Clark County to submit four (4) bill draft requests (BDRs) for consideration by the Nevada Legislature during the 2025 Nevada Legislative Session. NRS also requires the Board to determine those BDRs and submit them to the Legislative Counsel Bureau by September 1, 2024.

On July 16, 2024, the Board gave staff direction on three of the four options for BDRs. Staff will provide an update and will ask for  board direction on the fourth and final BDR to be included in the County's package for the 2025 session.
