BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is for electronic fingerprinting services to perform criminal history background checks on all adult member(s) of a household who are applying for shelter care, foster care or adopting a child through the Department of Family Services. A background check is also required for Department of Family Services volunteers.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
•                     The term of the Agreement is from Date of award through May 31, 2028.
•                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
