BACKGROUND:
This Contract is for community-based services to provide accessibility to therapeutic visitation services and parent training to youth and their families who have experienced severe emotional disturbances with M Harris & Associate LLC, dba The Therapeutic Solution. (NBE).
A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because this is grant specific through the Department of Health and Human Services - Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services for the Clark County Mental Health Expansion.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from March 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025, and includes the option to renew for 2, one-year periods and includes a 9-month extension.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature.
M. Harris & Associates dba The Therapeutic Solution currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
