BACKGROUND:
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved Interlocal Contract No. 3179 and budgeted funding for the Bunkerville Streetlight Service project in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2025.Interlocal Contract No. 3179 allocates funds for construction of the Bunkerville Streetlight Service project. The project consists of moving overhead power lines underground. These power lines feed existing Clark County maintained streetlights in Bunkerville, Nevada. The time of performance is effective until December 31, 2029, unless time extensions are granted.RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on September 12, 2024. The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
