BACKGROUND:
On July 10, 2023, the Department of Finance approved the award of CBE No. 606714-23 to KME Architects, LLC, (NBE) in the amount of $846,435 for professional services for Lake Mead & Englestad Microbusiness Park (Commercial) Design & Construction.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through December 30, 2026, and included a 3-month extension. Completion of all services shall be prior to December 30, 2026, unless such date is amended
by Clark County.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 provided for additional civil engineering services for a boundary and topographic survey and architectural coordination.
Approval of Amendment No. 2 provided for additional civil engineering services to prepare a traffic study that conformed to scope provided by the City of North Las Vegas Planning Department.
Approval of Amendment No. 3 will provide for additional subconsultant services due to change in scope, revise civil plans to reflect the addition of a fire water booster pump and increase allowances. The attached Amendment No. 3 document details the modifications and costs involved.
KME Architects, LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
