Maule / Badura Connection - Tenaya to El Capitan

Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $847,578, and Supplemental No. 1 increase of $89,000 revised the total contract value to $936,578. Supplemental No. 2 increase of $100,000 revised the total contract value to $1,036,578. Supplemental No. 3 increase of $15,000 revises the total contract value to $1,051,578.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On July 6, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with Horrocks Engineers, Inc. to provide professional engineering services for the Maule Avenue / Badura Avenue Connection between Tenaya Way and El Capitan Way project. On November 19, 2024 the Board of County Commissioners approved an assignment agreement assigning and transferring all current contracts from Horrocks Engineers, Inc. to Horrocks LLC.

Supplemental No. 3 to the professional engineering services contract with Horrocks LLC increases total funds for additional professional engineering services for preparing record drawings associated with ongoing development and associated post-design support during construction. The time of performance remains effective to December 31, 2025, unless further time extensions are granted.

Horrocks LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
