BACKGROUND:
Plaintiff Dafna Noury has brought a claim against Clark County and the State of Nevada (Eighth Judicial District Court) alleging that NRS 355.210 is unconstitutional. The First Judicial District denied the County's and the State of Nevada's motion to dismiss. The District Attorney's office and its outside counsel seek authorization to file a Petition for Writ of Mandamus with the Nevada Supreme Court in this case.
