BACKGROUND:
On December 17, 2024, Clark County and the Nevada Service Employees Union (SEIU) reached a Tentative Agreement for a new contract effective July 1, 2024. The SEIU membership voted and ratified the agreement on January 23, 2025.
Of the agreement, sixteen (16) articles and two (2) appendices were amended. One (1) appendix was deleted.
Attachment I contains the summary of changes for both the non-supervisory and supervisory units.
Attachment II contains the proposed entire Non-supervisory agreement including the changed and new language in its entirety for your information. With new language bolded/capitalized and deleted language stricken.
Attachment III contains the proposed entire Supervisory agreement including the changed and new language in its entirety for your information. With new language bolded/capitalized and deleted language stricken.
Attachment IV is the SEIU Non-supervisory Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines by article which elements of the contract are unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in a fiscal impact.
Attachment V is the SEIU Supervisory Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines by article which elements of the contract are unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in a fiscal impact.
Attachment IV is the SEIU Non-supervisory and Supervisory Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total contract cost and/or savings of the agreements for six thousand one hundred twenty (6,120) impacted SEIU positions.
