BACKGROUND:

On August 14, 2014, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 802 for the Decatur Boulevard between Cactus Avenue and Warm Springs Road project (No. PW.R007M13) on its annual Capital Improvement Plan from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.

On September 2, 2014, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 802 providing funds for engineering.  Two supplemental contracts were approved increasing total funds to cover the County's right-of-way costs for the project and extending the contract term.

The attached Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 802 changes the funding account for this project.  Funds for the project are now budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.  The current total contract value is $3,850,000 for this project.

This project is identified on RTC's Capital Improvement Program.  RTC approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on February 10, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
