BACKGROUND: 

The State of Nevada DHHS/DCFS (State) has offered to proceed with Amendment I to the Interlocal Contract (Amendment I) allowing Clark County (County) to continue to use the Oasis Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (Oasis) on their SNAMHS Campus (Campus) located at 6171 West Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89146 (Assessor's Parcel Number 163-02-601-007), until June 30, 2025.  The County will be responsible for the cost of utilities, repair and maintenance to Oasis through reimbursement to the State.  The State is responsible to pay for utilities and perform all repairs and maintenance and shall invoice the County for these costs based upon the County’s percentage of occupancy within the Campus.  Amendment I will allow the County to continue to provide mental health treatment services to the community.
