BACKGROUND:
On March 1, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) selected Apple Grove Treatment Center, LLC dba Apple Grove Foster Care Agency (SBE), The Center for Change, LLC dba Access Healthcare (NBE), Firstmed Health and Wellness Center (NBE), and Shining Star Community Services, LLC (NBE) for Clinical Care Coordination, pursuant to Request for Qualification (RFQ). Staff was unable to negotiate a Contract with Firstmed Health and Wellness Center at this time.
This Contract is for Clinical Care Coordination for children and/or young adults referred by Department of Family Services.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from October 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023 and includes the option to renew for 4, one-year periods.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1, a discretionary award process is permissible because the County requires the services of some or all qualified providers of these services and, therefore, the contract is not, by its nature, adaptable to competitive bidding. Pursuant to internal policies and procedures, Clark County solicited these services through RFQ process.
Apple Grove Treatment Center, LLC dba Apple Grove Foster Care Agency, The Center for Change, LLC dba Access Healthcare, and Shining Star Community Services, LLC currently hold a Clark County Business License.
