The initial Contract amount was $1,475,000, Amendment No. 1 will increase the Contract amount by $225,000, for a new total Contract amount of $1,700,000.
BACKGROUND:
On May 20, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of RFP No. 605086-18 for Audit Services to Crowe LLP (LBE) in the amount of $1,475,000 for audit services for Clark County's financial statements. The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:• The term of the Contract was from date of award through December 31, 2021 and included the option to renew for 2, one-year periods and included a 3 month extension. There are no renewal options remaining.• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.Approval of Amendment No. 1 will extend the Contract term through April 30, 2024 and increase the single audit fees. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.Crowe LLP currently holds a Clark County Business License.
