BACKGROUND:

On June 1, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. to provide professional engineering services for the Blue Diamond Wash Railroad Channel project.

Supplemental No. 1 to the professional engineering services contract is needed for additional design and post design services, including a resolution to conflict with the existing 24-inch Southwest Gas line in Blue Diamond Road and the proposed channel. The time of performance will be extended from December 31, 2024 to December 31, 2025, unless further time extensions are granted.

GCW, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
