Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $1,000,000 and Supplemental Nos. 1, 2, and 3 combined amounts increased contract by $2,200,000. Supplemental No. 4 extended the contract term. Supplemental No. 5 decrease of $300,000 revises the total contract value to $2,900,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On August 9, 2018, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1026 for the Fort Apache Road between Blue Diamond Road and Warm Springs Road project, providing funds for engineering on its annual Capital Improvement Program initially from Fuel Revenue Indexing Funds. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on September 4, 2018.

Supplemental No. 5 to Interlocal Contract No. 1026 decreases design funds, as the project is nearing completion. The term of the contract remains effective until June 30, 2028, unless further time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Supplemental No. 5 to Interlocal Contract No. 1026 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the fifth supplemental contract at its meeting on February 12, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental contract as to form.
