BACKGROUND:

On September 10, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1220 from its adopted Capital Improvement Program, for the Rainbow Boulevard between Blue Diamond Road and Clark County 215 Beltway project. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on October 6, 2020.

The Board and RTC previously approved one supplemental to the interlocal contract to increase total funds for design engineering costs.

Supplemental No. 2 to Interlocal Contract No. 1220 increases total funds for design to cover the consultant contract amount for engineering services and in-house labor costs. The time of performance remains effective until June 30, 2025, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the second supplemental contract at its meeting on October 12, 2023.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
