BACKGROUND:
On March 19, 2002, the Clark County Board of County Commissioners adopted and approved a resolution creating the Clark County Shooting Complex Advisory Committee, and subsequently approved the committee charter and authorization on July 2, 2002. On February 5, 2019, the Clark County Board of County Commissioners approved the membership to the committee to be extended to two years and eliminate the recording secretary position.
After a careful review of the applications, the following four (4) candidates with prior experience serving on the Shooting Complex Advisory Committee for a two-year term ending June 30, 2024, are eligible and recommended:
Martin Olson
Scott Lofgren
Dan Stark
Stephen McFadden
The following new applicants are recommended for selection on the Advisory Committee:
Jeff Bryant
Andy Spurlock
John Daniels
Larry Schultz
The County Commission is asked to appoint seven (7) qualified individuals to serve on the Shooting Complex Advisory Committee for a two-year (2) term commencing July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2026.
