Professional Services for Logandale Sports Complex, Phase II Improvements

Additional Comments:

The initial Contract amount was $1,502,995, Amendment No. 1 will increase the Contract amount by $175,500, for a new total Contract amount of $1,678,495.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On November 1, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606378-22 for Professional Services for Logandale Sports Complex, Phase II Improvements to Welles Pugsley Architects, LLP dba Simpson Coulter Studio (NBE) in the amount of $1,502,995 for the design and construction of a sports complex located at 1201 Frehner Avenue, Logandale, Nevada. The project includes preparing complete architectural, civil, landscape and engineering construction documents and construction administration for Phase II and is approximately a 13 acre portion of a 40 acre site. The complex provides two baseball/softball fields, paved parking capacity to accommodate use of all amenities simultaneously, splash pad, skate park and playground.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

                     The term of the Contract was 250 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Completion of all services                      shall be prior to December 30, 2025, unless such date is amended by Clark County.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for additional restroom design services.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.

Welles Pugsley Architects, LLP dba Simpson Coulter Studio currently holds a Clark County Business License.
