BACKGROUND:
On August 12, 2021, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1300 for the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Data Analytics project (Clark County Public Works No. R144MFT) in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022. RTC, in coordination with Clark County, City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas, City of Henderson, City of Boulder City, and City of Mesquite (collectively "Entities") intends to use and develop intersection performance analytic reporting systems, beneficial to each Entity. The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on October 5, 2021.
The Board of County Commissioners previously approved one supplemental interlocal contract to increase fuds for engineering of the project, and update the funding account.
Supplemental No. 2 to Interlocal Contract No. 1300 decreases total funds for the project due to scope changes.
RTC approved the second supplemental interlocal contract at its meeting on December 14, 2023.
Each of the Entities is scheduled to approve the second supplemental interlocal contract at their respective Board/Council meetings.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental interlocal contract as to form.
