Amendment No. 1 with Hopelink of Southern Nevada and Las Vegas Rescue Mission and Amendment No. 2 with Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada will increase the Contract award by $8,047,493.70, for a new aggregate total Contract award of $55,167,901.05.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On September 15, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of RFQ No. 605480-19 for Emergency Shelter to Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada (NBE), Hopelink of Southern Nevada (NBE), and Las Vegas Rescue Mission (NBE) in the aggregate amount of $41,992,830.68 to provide emergency shelter and support for households that are experiencing homelessness.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contracts:

                     The term of the Contracts was from date of award through June 30, 2022 and included the option to renew                      for 3, one-year periods and included a 6-month extension. There are no renewal options remaining.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Amendment No. 1 with Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada extended the Contract term through June 30, 2025 and increased the Contract amount by $5,127,576.67.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 with Hopelink of Southern Nevada and Las Vegas Rescue Mission will extend the Contract term through June 30, 2026. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.

Approval of Amendment No. 2 with Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada will extend the Contract term through June 30, 2026. The attached Amendment No. 2 document details the modifications and costs involved.

All firms are in compliance with Clark County Business License requirements.
