Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $277,000, and Supplemental Nos. 1 and 2 extended the contract term. Supplemental No. 3 increased the contract by $1,395,000. Supplemental No. 4 increased the contract by $565,000. Supplemental No. 5 increase of $955,000 revises the total contract value to $3,192,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On December 6, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved a professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. to provide predesign services for a pedestrian bridge over Las Vegas Boulevard at Bellagio Drive. 

Supplemental No. 5 to the professional services contract is to provide final design improvement plans to refurbish and repair the three existing pedestrian bridges located at Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue, and three existing pedestrian bridges located at Las Vegas Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road. The time of performance remains effective until December 31, 2027, unless further time extensions are granted.

GCW, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License. 

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental contract as to form.
