BACKGROUND:
On June 9, 2022, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) and Clark County entered into Interlocal Contract No. 3034 for the Traffic Safety Program: Roadway Safety project to promote traffic safety within Clark County. The Clark County Office of Traffic Safety interacts with federal, state, and local government officials, media representatives, traffic safety partners, and the public to gather input, provide information and recommend strategies to improve safety on the roadways through related design, construction and maintenance projects. The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on July 19, 2022.
The attached Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract 3034 increases total funds and extends the time of performance to December 31, 2028.
RTC approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on July 13, 2023.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
