BACKGROUND:

NextG Networks (now known as Crown Castle) was awarded a Wireless Use Agreement that is set to expire on April 17, 2021. County staff has been working on language for a new wireless use agreement and is near completion of a draft.

In order to provide adequate time for discussions with Crown Castle, staff is recommending that the current agreement be extended for an additional six months or until a new wireless use agreement is approved by the Board, whichever occurs first.
