BACKGROUND: 

Pursuant to the provisions of the Government Employee-Management Relations Act, NRS Chapter 233B, and NAC Chapter 288, this matter came before the State of Nevada, Government Employee-Management Relations Board (EMRB) for consideration on December 12 and 13, 2023, and again on January 18, 2024.

Employee testimony before the EMRB and documentary evidence consisting of multiple petitions signed by the employees seeking to decertify provided substantial evidence to the EMRB that the overwhelming majority of the ATS shop members no longer wanted the IUEC to represent them.

Based on the foregoing, the EMRB granted Clark County to withdraw recognition of IUEC as the bargaining agent for the ATS shop members.
