BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has worked alongside Clark County to apply for the Fiscal Year 2026 Safe Streets and Roads for All Capital Grant through the United States Department of Transportation.  If awarded, this grant would award Clark County $24,450,000, which is intended to be used for the Spring Mountain Road Phase 3 between Decatur Boulevard and Aldebaran Avenue project.

Design specifications estimate this project will cost approximately $48,900,000, and future funding will be needed.  Clark County anticipates receiving the additional funding needed from the RTC.
