BACKGROUND: 

These vehicles (VIN #s 6G1MK5U25DL828128 and 6G1MK5U23DL828130), have been fully utilized by County Administrative Services and have been retired from service for exceeding the established replacement criteria. The Nye County Department of Juvenile Probation has a need to add reliable duty vehicles to its fleet for the safe transporting of offending minors within their care, custody and control. 

In accordance with NRS Chapter 334.030, a governmental entity may enter into a contract with another governmental entity for the purchase of surplus personal property without the necessity of bidding.

The District Attorney has approved the resolution and contract of sale form.
