BACKGROUND:
This Contract is for consulting services to support Clark County's Job Order Contracting Program with The Gordian Group, Inc. (LBE).
A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because The Gordian Group, Inc. was Clark County's partner in the development and implementation of our Job Order Contracting Pilot. That pilot successfully moved forward over 200 small projects for the Department of Real Property Management. In anticipation of the pilot program becoming permanent under Assembly Bill 43, Purchasing and Real Property Management researched the market and found that The Gordian Group, Inc. is a leader in this industry. In addition, we reviewed cooperative agreements between The Gordian Group, Inc. and national consortiums and found Clark County's contract to be more advantageous in terms of protections and costs.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from date of award through June 30, 2032, and includes the option to renew for 3, one-year periods and includes a 6-month extension.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature and (h), the services to be purchased pertain to software.
The Gordian Group, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
