The initial Contract amount was $874,095. Amendment No. 1 had no fiscal impact. Amendment No. 2 had no fiscal impact. Amendment No. 3 will increase the Contract amount by $ 582,730 for a new total Contract amount of $1,456,825 should all renewal options be exercised. |
BACKGROUND:
On May 7, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605114-18 to WestCare Nevada, Inc. (NBE) in the amount of $874,095 for Participation in the Family Treatment Drug Courts Inpatient Residential, Transitional, and Intensive Outpatient Program.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from May 7, 2019 through September 30, 2019, and included the option to renew for 2, one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 replaced Exhibit A with Exhibit A-1 and added Exhibit D to the Contract.
Amendment No. 2 replaced Exhibit D in the Contract.
Approval of Amendment No. 3 will extend the Contract through September 30, 2023. The attached Amendment No. 3 document details the modifications and costs involved.
WestCare Nevada, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
