BACKGROUND: 

On October 2, 2019, the BCC established the 1 October Memorial Committee to recommend and fund a memorial utilizing community input from victims, families, first responders and other community members.  Attached is a timeline of past activity and the proposed next steps including the process for continued engagement and bringing a final recommendation to the BCC.
